High School
Why should you choose WCS for your Student?
Student Success is created by our support team which consists of the Academic Counselor, Behavior Coordinator, and the classroom teacher. Additional Support by our Reading Specialist is offered to students needing extra support in the areas of reading, comprehension, and writing. Core classes are UC approved A-G courses. Instructional practices of the teachers and other activities help all students to achieve success. WCS is fully accredited by WASC to ensure that all students are eligible to attend, in addition to any Private College, any UC, State University or College.
What sets WCS High School apart from other schools?
In addition to our core classes. Career Technical Education is offered for students who wish to pursue a career in computers, construction or automotive repair. Introductory classes are available as early as 7th grade. Students in 12th grade can pursue advanced certification and earn college credit while in high school by attending the local community college. Please make an appointment with the college and career counselor if you would like more information. WCS also provides classes on career exploration and preparation for college.
